It has been six months since we went to Indiana and rescued Boris(now named Bear) He is a Norweigan Elkhound/Malamute mix. We will never forget our Keesha of 15 years, but Bear (Boris) has taken over our hearts. Although he does have an attitude, he fits right in with all the grandkids. We are so happy we went and rescued him. He has given me back a sense of security having him around me all the time. Thank you again to Tammy and Jayne for making it possible for his to have him. Message From: Leslie and Bill September 21, 2008 We adopted Pepsi (keeshond/border collie mix) in April 2007, and re-named him Koda. We loved him so much, that we decided to rescue another dog.We adopted Rocket (border collie/flat coated retriever mix) in March of 2008. The staff at Perfect Paws is great and Rocket's foster mom Jacci was wonderful. We live in Cincy and she met us so we wouldn't have to drive all the way to Ft. Wayne so Koda and Rocket could meet. They are the best two dogs and get along great as "brothers." Thank you Perfect Paws! Message From: David, Rachel, Kids & Max September 5, 2008 We adopted Kiwi and we love her to death! She has fit in VERY well with our family. She and have even come to an understanding: Kiwi is in charge! (Actually thought about changing her name to Sheba because she saunters around like a queen.) She is a very special, loving friend - she is my baby. She loves all of my neighbors and anyone else she meets. I am truly blessed to have found her and have her as part of my life! Thank you Tammy and all of the foster parents at Perfect Paws for allowing me to be a permanent Mom. Emmy thanks you too. She loves me almost as much as I love her. She also loves my sister, her Aunt Tina. Aunt Tina has to stop by 1-2 days a week just to get her Emmy fix. Tina will walk her in the woods behind my apartment and give Miss Emmy belly rubs and new toys. Emmy has been great therapy for me. I can't imagine living my life without her now. God Bless all of you that take care of these pets and the business. Emmy has changed my life for the good and she is very happy with me. Spoiled rotten, but happy. Hey, what's the use of having a dog if I can't spoil her rotten? That's the way I've always thought it should be. Emmy is the best baby in the whole world for me - she is just the right personality for a friend that I really needed. Thanks so much!
