This is Louise! She is a 5 year old Shih Tzu. She weighs 12 pounds and is full grown. She is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations. She is working hard on house training and is crate trained. She is a friendly girl that is good with people, children, and other dogs. She came to us after being used as a breeder dog that had produced many puppies and was no longer productive enough. Thelma is so happy to have the opportunity to just be a dog and be loved. We did just have her teeth cleaned and her coat groomed so she is looking her best. She is enjoying running in the yard but also enjoys sitting on your lap. She would benefit from attending an obedience class to help her with basic commands, learning house rules, and for socialization. She is looking for her forever home and will make someone a great new family member. Her adoption fee is $250. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
