This is Ally! She has to come to us from a horrible abuse situation. She was left out in the hot sun with oil on her dry skin which caused serious burns and infections. Her owner chose to surrender her instead of providing the proper medical care she needed. Her skin is healing nicely. She may always have some scarring but it seems to be only on her outward appearance and not in her soul! If you can stand to see them, there are pictures of her prior to treatment (attached below). She is a 1 year old Labrador/Pit Bull mix. She weighs 50 pounds and is full grown. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, micro-chipped and heart worm negative. She is house trained and crate trained. She is good with people, children and gets along with other dogs. She is currently in foster care with 4 others dogs and 3 cats. She loves to go for walks and wants to run and play. She would benefit from attending an obedience class to reinforce her basic commands, help establish house rules and for socialization. She is looking for her forever home and will make someone a great new family member. Her adoption fee is $150. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
