This amazingly adorable little girl is Cookie!  She is a 1 1/2yr old Shih-Tzu. She weighs 8 pounds and is full grown. She is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations. She is house trained and does not need to be crated.  Her life up to two months ago was horrible.  She was mistreated and severely neglected.  She came to our rescue from a local shelter with another Shih tzu, a male. In grooming her it was discovered she was pregnant.  She trusted no human, escaping and running away every chance she got.  Slowly her trust was earned by her foster.  She had her puppies on 8/21/16, two girls.  Her puppies were just adopted and Cookie has had a difficult time adjusting to their departure.  Cookie will make someone an amazing compainion!!  HOWEVER, if will take someone who is very patient and understanding with her.  Allowing her through so much, she deserves this.  Due to her behaviors, a home with children 12 and over is required.  She loves to sit on your lap.  She is a very sweet and loveable girl. Her adoption fee is $350. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record. If you would like to adopt this very special K-9 kid, please go DIRECTLY to our website to complete our convenient Online Adoption Form.  Our website is www.perfectpawspetrescue.org cut and paste our web address into your browser to get to our site.  Email any questions to Tammy Derickson at tlderickson@yahoo.com   or Jayne Biehl at jbiehl3@gmail.com    NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE.  Fort Wayne Indiana vicinity
