This is Gus! He is a very handsome 11 month old believed to be Pit Bull Terrier and Great Dane mix - though it is impossible to know for sure. He weighs about 70 pounds and could be 75 - 80 pounds when he is full grown. He is neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations. He is house and crate trained. Gus needs to find a home with an owner that will give him structure. He needs someone that will continue to give the time and energy he needs to help him reach his potential. His foster is getting him started on good behaviors. Gus loves to play and will need a yard and daily exercise. He is good with people and other dogs. He is looking for his forever home and will make the right someone a great new family member. Like all young dogs, he would benefit from attending an obedience class to help him with basic commands, for overall socialization and to assist with teaching him good household behavior. His adoption fee is $150. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
