This is George, but we seem to call him Chico and he likes that better! He is a 2 year old Chihuahua mix. He weighs about 4 pounds and full grown. He is neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations. He is mostly house trained and is crate trained. George gets along with people and other dogs but he does have a lot of energy and we find that older dogs find him to be too playfull. Due to his breed and small size we recommend a home with children over the age of 8. While Chico does have a lot of playfull energy he also loves to snuggle and wants to be up near your neck and face. He is looking for his forever home and will make someone a great new family member. Like all young dogs, he would benefit from attending an obedience class to help him with basic commands, for overall socialization and to assist with teaching him good household behavior. His adoption fee is $300. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
