This is Sophie!  She is a 5 year old Maltese mix.  She weighs about 8 pounds and is full grown.  She is spayed, heartworm negative and up to date on vaccinations.   She is house trained and does not need or like a crate.  Sophie is good with adults but probably hasn't been around children and they make her anxious.  We would only consider a home with children 12 and older.  She is also ok with dogs her size but finds larger dogs to be intimidating.  She is a calm and low energy girl.  Sophie has a favorite toy and bed that will go with her to her new home.  She is looking for her forever home and will make someone a great new family member.  Her adoption fee is just $300. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
