This is Rumor! She is a black Lab mixed with what we believe to be some kind of hunting dog. She is estimated to be 1 1/2 years old. She is spayed, de-wormed, micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm tested and started on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. She is house and crate trained. Rumor is very young and does have some energy, therefore will need a yard and daily play time. She and her 7 puppies came to our rescue from a shelter that we frequently work with. Rumor does get along with other dogs however meeting new dogs can be a challenge for her. She does live and enjoys two other dogs in her foster home but it took a a little time for her to acclimate to her new housemates. Rumor does great with kids. However she is not a fan of cats. Due to her hunting instincts whe will require a home with a fenced in yard. Rumor loves to be outside and will make someone a great outdoor companion with activities. When inside though she is super sweet and cuddly! Being young she does still have some mouthing issues so would do best with children over the age of 10 for this reason. She is looking for her forever home dedicated to making her a family member. Rumor has a tons of love to give and will be a loyal addition to some lucky family - she loves all other dogs and everyone she meets. Like all dogs, she would benefit from attending an obedience class to help her with basic commands, for overall socialization and to assist with teaching her good household behavior. Her adoption fee is $150. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
