This is Cosmo! He is a 7 year old Shih Tzu mix. He came to us from a local shelter. He weighs about 10 pounds and is full grown. He is neutered, heatworm negative, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations. He is house trained and does need to be crated and he does not like a crate. He is currently kept in a gated room during the day and sleeps with a family member at night. He gets along with people, children and other dogs but he does like his own personal space. His foster feels he would do best with another dog or an owner that is home most of the time. He likes to go for walks and is a big chewer and will need plenty of chew toys. He is a bit of an older soul looking for a last home to land in where he can be a part of the family. He does have some anxiety that can be overcome with time and keeping him on a routine so he knows what to expect. He is looking for his forever home and will make someone a great lifetime companion. His adoption fee is $200.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
