Annabelle came to us from a local shelter. She is looking for her forever home with a family that will be patient with her and help her overcome her fear of new things.
Adoption fee is $150.
1 year old, believed to be a Pit Bull/Boxer mix.
Weighs 40 to 45 pounds and is full grown.
Spayed, micro-chipped, is heartworm negative and up to date on vaccinations.
House trained and crate trained.
Annabelle is timid about anything new. Once she has had time to acclimate and relax, she is good with people and children and she is super loving and affectionate.

She does seem to have anxiety with other dogs and would need a little time to meet another pet. She is not dog aggressive but overly submissive. We can only assume that she has been treated very poorly in her short life!
She has such potential if she can just be given the time she needs to regain her confidence. Her foster has already gotten her to enjoy car rides and she will now get right in the car. She will come into the pet store and greet people and let other dogs approach her. She is a very active girl and will need daily exercise and play time.
The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
