Henry is very much a cattle dog in that he bonds to his people and is protective of them. He would therefore do best in a quiet home where there are not a lot of people coming and going. He would be perfect in a single person home and so that would be recommended.
Needs a home without children
He will need a home with a yard and daily exercise. He loves to play and has lots of energy to burn. He would be a wonderful walking, hiking or running companion. He also loves to lay at your feet and just chill.
As do all young dogs, he would benefit greatly from attending an obedience class to help him with basic commands, good household behaviour and overall socialization.
The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
