Meet Smokey!!! Smokey showed up at a family's home on November 15, 2008, in very rough shape, both medically and physically. The family has taken care of him since then and he has gotten the medical attention he needed. They have fattened him up and he looks much better, only to improve as his healing goes on. He is completely healthy now, and looking for his FOREVER home.

Smokey is a very social cat and loves attention. He loves to play with other cats that accept him. Spray a toy with Catnip and he clings onto it with silliness. Sometimes he doesn't like to be held but will sit by you contently, reaching out with a paw or two. He has been around children, other cats, and dogs. If the other animals will accept him, he will respond to their friendship.
