* This is Diesel! * He is an 1 1/2 year old believed to be a Giant Schnauzer with perhaps a mix of Collie and or Poodle. * Adoption fee is $400. * He weighs 75 pounds and could be 85 pounds when he is completely full grown. He is bit thin for his frame. * He is neutered, micro-chipped, heartworm negative and up to date on vaccinations. He will be professionally groomed since the pictures were taken. * He is house trained and gated in a utility room when left home alone. * He is good with people, children and other dogs. * He is very well mannered. He does not jump on you or on furniture. His head is counter height and he will sniff at items left out and perhaps would like to steal a taste if left unattended. * He likes to play fetch and romp in puddles. He enjoys chew toys. He is active but not hyper. * He is very much a companion dog and wants to be right where you are regardless of what you are doing. * He knows some basic commands and he would benefit from attending an obedience class to help him with these basic commands. He is very smart and wants to learn. * He is looking for his forever home and will make someone a great new family member. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
