* This is Darby! * His adoption fee is $350. * He is a purebred Parti colored, Standard Poodle believed to be 2 1/2 years old! * Darby weighs about 65 pounds and is full grown. * He is neutered, micro-chipped, heartworm negative and up to date on vaccinations. * He is both house and crate trained. * Darby came from a local shelter with the worst ear infection our vet has seen. It's taken 6 months to treat. His right ear is normal and healthy now. His left ear continues to get ear drops in daily. Due to the severity of the infection, the left ear may be a chronic, ongoing condition that will need to be followed to prevent another bad infection. *Darby is a VERY sweet boy! It's taken him 6 months in his foster home to really trust people and now he seeks out attention and affection. * He gets along great people, children and other dogs but he is timid of fast movements. * He is looking for his forever home and will make someone a great new family member. * The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
