Teddy is an 11 year old Shih Tzu. He came to us when his owner was moved into hospice care. After 11 years in one home with one person, he is a bit confused and will need time to warm up, establish a daily routine and settle in.
He weighs 13 pounds and is full grown.
He is neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations.
He is house trained and crate trained. He doesn't mind being crated and will sometimes choose to lay there.
He knows some basic commands and has good household manners.
He is good with people but probably has not been around children. A quiet home might be best.
He will make someone a wonderful companion and is looking for a forever home.
The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record. If you would like to adopt this very special K-9 kid, please go DIRECTLY to our website to complete our convenient Online Adoption Form.
