Basset Hound (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Baby : : Medium Learn more about the Basset Hound.
Meet Molly!! She is a purebred Bassett Hound. Molly came in to the rescue as an onwer surrender. Molly is very shy but will come out of her shell nicely. Molly has been with her foster family for a week now. The first 2 days, she did hide. Slowy but surely she has come out, is now wagging her tail and is very happy. She still gets scared when new people come in to meet her. Again, she does warm up in time. Molly appears to have not been treated well at some point in her young life. She gets along great with other dogs, cats, and does well with kids. She will be learning to walk well on a leash, is completely house and crate trained. In time, with a great deal of love, patience and understanding. This may take awhile as she is very shy at first. The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
