* Our best estimate is that she is a mix of Australian Shepherd, Rat Terrier and more.   
* Cookie weighs about 16 pounds and could be around 20 pounds when she is full grown. 
* She is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations.  She has been started on flea/tick and heartworm perventative. 
* She is house trained if kept on a schedule.  She doesn't yet signal that she needs to go out.  She is crated when left alone but doesn't love it. 
* She would do best in a home with another pup or with someone who is home a lot as she doesn't like to be alone. 
* She gets along with people and other dogs. She is great with kids.  She loves everyone but has some anxiety when meeting new people and has some submissive urination.
* She is very playfull and active.  She will require daily exercise to expend her energy!  She also loves to cuddle and chill on the couch.  
* Like all young pups, he would benefit from attending an obedience class to help with basic commands, good household behaviors and for overall socialization.  
* He is looking for his forever home and will make someone a great new family member.  
* The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
