Roux is believed to be a 6 month old Shepherd, possibly Black mouth cur mixed with something more! Very upright and tuned in ears.
She weighs 17 pounds and could be 35 pounds when full grown.
She is spayed, micro chipped and up to date on vaccinations.
She is working hard on house training and is crate trained.
She is good with people, children, cats and other dogs. She loves to play with other dogs.
Roux does have some energy and will need a home with a yard and daily exercise.
She is a bit timid of new people at first, but then warms right up.
She will make someone a wonderful new companion and family member.
Like all young pups, she would benefit from attending an obedience class to help with basic commands, good household behaviors and for overall socialization.
The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
