Gracie is believed to be a 4 year Tibetan Spaniel.
She weighs 27 pounds and is full grown.
She is spayed, micro chipped and up to date on vaccinations.
She is house trained and crate trained. She loves her bed. She walks good on a leash.
She is good with other dogs and thinks they all should be her friend.
Gracie does have some quirky personality traits. She is very food motivated and will be your friend and do what you want until the food is gone. Then she will only do what she wants. She has some phobias that need worked on such as being picked up, loud noises and tile floors. Her response to fear is to growl. She wants on the couch and bed but would like steps to get there. She will need a patient adopter that will learn her fears and help her work thru them. She would do best in a home with a fenced yard so that she doesn't bolt if frightened by something.
She will make the right person a wonderful new companion and family member. We are looking for a local adopter as she will not show well at our normal pet store planned meetings. (NE Indiana)
The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
