* He is a believed to be 10 month old Minature Poode and Dachshund mix commonly called a Doxipoo!
* Louie weighs about 12 pounds and may be 15 pounds when full grown.
* Louie came to us from a breeder where he was released from the breeding program. He is a bit shy and will need lots of socialization. He will also require lots of patience as he has spent his life in a kennel so everything is new to him. With lots of love, patience and understanding he will become an amazing family member.
* He is neutered, micro chipped and up to date on vaccinations.  He has been started on flea/tick and heartworm perventative.  
* He is house and is crate trained but still has an occasional accident.
* He does well with people, children and other dogs. 
* He is very content to have a lap to lay on but also likes to run and play in the yard.
* Like any pup, he will benefit greatly from obedience class to learn how to be a good canine citizen.
* He is looking for his forever home and will make someone a great new family member.  

* The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
