Meet Millie! *Her adoption fee is $450.00. *She is believed to be a 1 year old Cockapoo. *Her breed will require grooming about every 6-8 weeks to prevent matting and overgrowth. *Ready for adoption on 5/2/24. *Millie is a master snuggler! She loves being by your side and in your lap. *She came from an Amish breeder, so she is timid at first (especially around men) until she is able to warm up and adjust to her surroundings. *Millie is crate trained and sleeps well in her crate at night. *She is working at potty training and leash training. They are both a work in progress. She would do better on a harness for walks. *Millie is good with other dogs and kids. Although, loud noises can cause her to be a little fearful. This will just take some time to get used to. *She doesn't seem to be food motivated but she is eager to please. *Millie would make the perfect pet for a family!
*The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
