Meet Dusty!! He is thought to be a Havenese/Bichon mix. Dusty is super friendly, and LOVES attention. He will obey simple commands, like sit, and lay down. Dusty will benefit greatly from obedience training as he has a few shortcomings to overcome. He jumps up on you as he wants love and attention. Dusty also will get into the trash if accessible to him. In spite of these small issues, Dusty is an exceptional dog. He comes when he is called, he stays close when outside and listens the first time he is told. He is completely house and crate trained. Dusty gets along great with other dogs, cats and kids. He walks very well on a leash. Dusty will require daily walks or exercise to expend some of his energy and get the excerise he needs. He will make some family a GREAT furry member!! Due to his small size, Dusty will need to go to a home with children 10 years or older. Dusty is microchipped. The adoption fee is $300.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
