Meet Tinkerbell, aka Dixie!! She is a stunning purebred, 13 month old mantle Great Dane. Tinkerbell/Dixie is on the thin side and does need to put on some weight. Tinkerbell/Dixie came into our rescue as an owner surrender who could no longer care for her after having a baby. Tinkerbell/Dixie is exceptionally sweet, smart, and very eager to please. She has had very little structure and needs to learn to be a good family member. Tinkerbell/Dixie will take a very loving, patient home and will greatly benefit from obedience training. Tinkerbell/Dixie will only be adopted to someone who has previously owned a Great Dane, presently owns a Great Dane, or has verifiable experience with Great Danes. Tinkerbell/Dixie will sit on command, is learning to walk on a leash without pulling. She is VERY affectionate and loves attention. She has the very typical Dane lean. Tinkerbell/Dixie is excellent with cats. Tinkerbell/Dixie LOVES everyone, including children. Altough like all Danes, Tinkerbell/Dixie has no idea how big she is. Tinkerbell/Dixie has been spayed, heartworm tested, given all of her vaccinations including DHLPP and Bordetella, rabies, and have started her on heartworm/flea and tick prevention. She is completely house and crate trained. Due to her extremely large size, Tinkerbell/Dixie can only go to a home with children 10 and older. She will make some family a great furry family member!! The adoption fee is $350.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
