Meet Spike !! He is believed to be a Springer Spaniel mix. Spike is beautiful and extremely sweet boy, just look at him! Spike is super friendly, and LOVES attention. He will obey simple commands, like sit, lay down, shake, and roll over. Spike will benefit greatly from obedience training as she has a few shortcomings to overcome. He jumps up on you as he wants love and attention. He loves to give kisses! He comes when he is called, he stays close when outside and listens the first time he is told. He is completely house and crate trained. Spike is extremely loving and very affectionate. Spike gets along great with other dogs, cats and kids. He is learning to walk well on a leash. Spike will require daily walks or exercise to expend some of his energy and get the excerise he needs. He will make some family a GREAT furry member!! Spike is also microchipped! The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
