Meet Sonny!

Sonny is a sweet, shy girl who just wants to be close to her people. She’s calm, tolerant of baths and car rides (though a little shaky), and happiest when curled up on a cozy bed or blanket near you.

She’s still learning crate and house training but is making steady progress—sleeping through the night and going out regularly during the day. She’s not big on toys or treats, but she loves ground beef and cheese, and prefers her kibble with a little water mixed in.

Sonny gets along well with cats and has done great with the dogs she’s met. She’s not a fan of being alone and will follow you around the house. She recently enjoyed a beach day, digging and splashing in the water.

*The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
