This sweet 4-year-old Maltese is looking for her forever home!
Timid at first, Nikki blossoms into a total lovebug once she feels safe. She gets along great with the resident pup and is already showing her gentle, affectionate side. While Nikki is kind, she is shy and thrives in a low energy environment. We recommend no young children for her new home.

Nikki joined us at an adoption event this weekend and she did great. She enjoyed being with the other pups and found a few people to snuggle her close on their lap -- her favorite place to be.

Her gorgeous coat will need regular grooming to keep her looking fabulous ✂️✨

New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure.

The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
