Penny is a beautiful 4-year-old Goldendoodle who is up to date on all her vet care. She’s a gentle soul—curious but timid—still learning what love truly feels like. Life hasn’t always been kind to her, but she’s holding onto hope that the right family will show her the warmth she deserves.

Penny will thrive in a patient home with people who understand that trust takes time. A confident, kind dog sibling would be a wonderful guide for her, helping her feel safe and supported. A fenced yard is a must, as Penny finds peace lounging in the grass and soaking up the outdoors.

She’s crate-trained, has great potty manners, and is learning to enjoy the simple joys of life. Penny may be shy, but her quiet resilience and gentle heart are waiting to blossom in the right environment. Due to Penny's deep need for connection, we feel it best she be in a home where she is not left alone for extended periods.

New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure.

The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
