Monty is a 7-month-old Bichon Frise with a heart full of love and a gentle spirit. This cuddly boy thrives on being close to his people and often puts himself to bed in his crate at night. He’s happiest exploring the outdoors right by your side.

Monty is still learning his leash and potty manners, but he’s a quick study. Mealtime is a calm affair—he’s a polite grazer who takes his time.

He’d do best in a quieter home, either with a calm, older dog or as your one-and-only companion. High-energy environments and bouncy puppies aren’t really his style.

New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure.

The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
