Smokey is a spunky and social guy who’s mastered potty time and settles into his crate like a pro. He knows basic commands like sit and come, and he’s eager to learn more. Smokey gets along well with other pets and walks nicely on a leash with either a collar or halter.

A little special info about this lovebug—due to his prior living conditions, Smokey came to us with a skin infection that has since been treated and fully healed. His beautiful fur is still growing back a bit -- it's coming back to super model status quite nicely. 

New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure.

The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
