This little 9-pound Yorkipoo is looking for his forever home.

Buttons is 4 years old and recently lost his person when they moved into a nursing home. He’s been through a lot of changes and is understandably a bit nervous — but underneath that shy exterior is the sweetest little companion you could hope for.

Buttons loves to be close to his person and would make a wonderful lap buddy or loyal sidekick. He’s learning to be comfortable around other dogs and is slowly adjusting. He enjoys chewing on bones, using potty pads, and will go potty outside when taken out on a leash. Buttons is looking for patience, love, and a calm home where he can finally exhale. 

New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure.

The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
