Meet Peanut!
This adorable 1-year-old Chihuahua is full of curiosity and love! Peanut is a snuggle bug who adores burrowing under the covers and being close to her people. She’s happiest when she’s near you and would thrive with a friendly pup companion in the home.

Her potty manners are still a work in progress, but she’s a quick learner who wants to please.

Special Note: Peanut had some malnutrition early in life, which led to a medical condition. After careful vet care, it’s been determined she will need daily seizure medication—likely for life. This sweet girl just needs someone willing to accommodate her medical needs. Currently, her medication runs about $30 per month.

New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure.

The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
