Meet Charlie!!  He is an almost 4 year old Beagle mix. He came to our rescue when his owner's could no longer keep him do their child's asthmatic allergies.  Charlie was born in Huntington WV where his family rescued him at 6 weeks old. He lived with another dog and two cats.  They family then moved to Green Bay WI.  In February 2009 the baby was born, that summer they moved again to Chicago Illinois and were only there till the end of the year.  The family then moved to Indiana where they currently reside.  It was at this point that it was determined that the baby has asthmatic allergies.  Charlie had to start spending more and more time in his crate.  He is completely house and crate trained. He loves to run and go for walks.   The adoption fee is $150.00   The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
