Meet Cheyenne! She is an adorable little Scottie/Miniature Schnauzer mix. Cheyenne is absolutely adorable; just look at face! She is super friendly, LOVES attention, and wants nothing more than to be held. Being a puppy, Cheyenne will get along with other dogs, cats and kids. Cheyenne is very much a puppy and will need the proper puppy training. She has very sharp, needle like teeth and will bite little fingers and toes. She also has very sharp claws that will strach when she jumps up. All these behaviors can be modified and Cheyenne can be taught not to bite and jump but it takes lots of time, love, patience, and perserverience. She will benefit greatly from obedience training to learn to be a good family member. Cheyenne needs a family who understands the trials and tribulations of puppyhood and will commit to seeing her through it. She is going through the chewing phase and will need constant supervision and will need to be crated when he cannot be supervised. Cheyenne will need to learn to walk well on a leash. She will require daily walks or exercise to expend some of her puppy energy and get the excerise she needs. She will make some family a GREAT furry member!! Do to her very small size, Cheyenne will only be adopted to a family with children age 10 and over. The adoption fee is $200.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
