Scarlett prefers a quiet environment, so a household without young children would be the best fit for her. If you have another pet in the home, he/she should be calm and out of the rough & tumble play phase. Scarlett enjoys going for walks and does well on a leash. She is crate trained and mostly potty trained—any recent small accidents are likely due to the transition into foster care. With consistency and patience, she should continue to do very well. Her foster family describes Scarlett as a big cuddle bug who loves being close to her people. She will never turn down gentle pets, scratches, or quiet companionship. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who enjoys a peaceful lifestyle, Scarlett may be the perfect match. A soft heart, a calm soul, and lots of love to give—Scarlett is ready for her forever home. New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes.
