Meet Comet!!! He is a 6 year old Black Lab. Comet is a big boy weighing in at 105 pounds. He is an absolutely delightful boy. He is a social dog and loves people, cats and other dogs. He knows sit, down, come, go, off, up and he is eager to please. Comet could probably play fetch all day if he was allowed and he loves the idea of being a sofa spud, but will stay on the floor if that is what is preferred. Comet is 100% housetrained and he will “kennel up” when it is time. Comet is in need of a new home because one of the children of his owner is very allergic to Comet. They feel Comet is entitled to a life where he can be with his family and get all the love and attention he wants and deserves. He will do best if he is crated or gated when his family is away. He is perfectly fine sleeping on a dog bed all night with no trouble. Comet has great manners when his excitement does not get the better of him. He will be the star of any obedience class he joins with his new family. The adoption fee is $100.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
