Meet Zappa!!! He is a 2 year old Shar Pei/Black Lab mix. Zappa is not a large dog, he weighs about 50 pounds. He is an absolutely delightful boy. He is a social dog and loves people, cats and other dogs. He knows sit, down, come, go, off, up and he is eager to please. Zappa loves the idea of nap with you on the sofa if allowed, but will stay on the floor if that is what is preferred. Zappa is 100% housetrained and he will “kennel up” when it is time. Zappa came to our rescue from a shelter where he was surrendered by his owner. Zappa passed his temperment testing with flying colors. He will do best if he is crated or gated when his family is away. He is perfectly fine sleeping on a dog bed all night with no trouble. Zappa has great manners when his excitement does not get the better of him. He will be the star of any obedience class he joins with his new family. The adoption fee is $200.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
