Meet Sparkey!! He is a 10 month old purebred, black Mini Schnauzer. Sparkey currently weighs about 15 pounds and may be as much as 18 pounds when he reaches full maturity. Sparkey is a wonderful boy but has the very high energy level very common in puppies! He is friendly, and loves attention. He loves to play and run. Sparkey would benefit greatly from obedience training. He is house for the most part and crate trained. Sparkey gets along great with other dogs, cats. He is learning to walk on a leash but continued training and work will be needed in this area. Sparkey require daily walks or exercise to expend some of his energy. He will make some family a great little furry member!! Due to his high energy breed, he will need to go to a home with older children, over the age of 8. Typically, small breed dogs and small children are not a good match. The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
