Meet Luke!! He is a beautiful tri color shepherd/collie mix. Luke is a real sweetheart! He was very shy when he came to us. Now however, is is social and enjoys people and other dogs. He is affectionate and wags his happy little tail. Luke gets along with other dogs, cats and kids. Luke is completely house and crate trained. He is also walking pretty well on his leash. Luke also knows how to sit every time he is asked to do so. He will even sit on his own at feeding time when he sees his food bowl. He will benefit greatly from obedience training to learn to be a good family member. Luke needs a family who understands the trials and tribulations and will commit to seeing him through. The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
