Meet Dotti! She is a 2 year old, English Setter weighing about 40 pounds. Everyone who has met Dotti, instantly falls in love with her. She is a very sweet and gentle girl. Full of love and personality. Dotti is a special needs dog and will require a very dedicated family. Dotti is deaf. She knows some hand signals and we are working with a trainer who will teach us to use an electronic collar to train Dotti. This collar will simply be used to get her attention so she can be given a command. When Dotti feels the vibration of the collar, she will look at us for instruction. Dotti will benefit greatly from daily walks, and a commitment to continue her training. She craves attention and wants very much to be by your side. She gets along with other dogs, cats and children. Dotti is completely house and crate trained. She require an adopter willing to continue with her training to make her the great family member she has the potential to be. She is adorable, loveable and smart. The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
