Meet Spanky! He is a 6 year old, Chihuahua/Pekinese mix weighing about 17 pounds. Spankey's owner passed away and he is very lonely and depressed. It is very sad. Spanky is a special needs dog and will require a very dedicated family. Spaanky is scared, lost and withdrawn. He will need all the love and patience you have to give. Spanky will benefit greatly from daily walks, and a commitment to continue his training. He craves attention and wants very much to be by your side. He gets along with other dogs, cats and children. Spanky is completely house and crate trained. He require an adopter willing to be patient with him while he mourns the loss of his owner and adjusts to his new home and family. He is adorable, loveable and smart. The adoption fee is $100.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
