Meet Kodi!!! He is a gorgeous white pure bred boxer. Kodi came to us when his family could no longer care for him. Kodi spent the vast majority of his life in a crate. His previous owners got him as a puppy but when they started having children, Kodi was crated all the time. This has has left Kodi with some socializtion issues that are being worked through. He is starved for attention. When out walking on a leash, he gets so excited when he sees people he barks at them. This behavior has been misread and misunderstood as possible aggression. Kodi is a big teddy bear that will lick you silly. He LOVES to be petted and have attention. Kodi has a dominant personality with other dogs. It took him two full days to adjust, acclimate and bond with the dog in his foster home. There were some tense moments, but now the two are the best of friends. They eat, sleep and play together constantly. If adopted by a family with another dog, it will take Kodi a few days to adjust and bond with another dog, but he will. He just needs, lots of love, time, patience and understanding. Kodi is a great dog if given the chance to be. He loves people and kids!! Kodi will play outside with kids as much as allowed!! The adoption fee is $100.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, tag, training DVD, and vaccination record.
