Meet Dixie!! She is a beautiful pure breed Boxer. Dixie is about 2 years old, and weighs about 65 pounds. She is very friendly. Dixie loves to play and run. Dixie will take a bit to adapt to other dogs. She plays with her foster's dog, a one year old Lab but when she is done playing, she lets him know. She will benefit greatly from obedience training and socialization. She is house and crate trained. Dixie is very loving toward kids. She is learning to walk on a leash but continued work and training is necessary. Dixie will require daily walks or exercise to expend some of her energy. She will make some family a great little furry member!! The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
