Meet Mario!!  He is a beautiful 6 week old puppy who's mom is a Shepherd mix weighing about 40 pounds and Dad was a pure bred Dachshund.  As unbelievable as is sounds, it is true. Mario currently weighs about 6 pounds and may reach about 25 pounds when full grown. He was born in our rescue with his 6 siblings on August 2st. Mario will not be available to leave the rescue until October 1st when he is over 8 weeks of age. Mario loves people and is all puppy!!  He gets along with other dogs, cats and kids. He is working on house training and crate training. He is also going to be working on walking on a leash.  Being a puppy he will greatly benefit  from obedience training to learn to be a good family member.  Mario needs a family who understands the trials and tribulations of puppyhood and will commit to seeing him through this transition and commit to him for his entire life. The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
