Meet Chewy !! He is believed to be a Pomeranian/Shih Tau mix. Chewy is about 1 1/2 year old, was found running loose and picked up the the shelter.  He came to our rescue when no one claimed him from the shelter.  Chewy is a wonderful little guy and loves attention and is happiest sitting on your lap or curled up next to you. Hewill benefit greatly from obedience training as he has a lot of puppy left in him. He is house and crate trained. Chewy gets along great with other dogs and kids. She is learning to walk on a leash but continued work and training is necessary.  Chewy will require daily walks or exercise to expend some of his energy. He will make some family a great little furry member!!  Because of his small size, he will need to go to a family with children 8 years or older.  Most toy and small breed dogs do not do well with young children.  The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
