Meet Chester! He is a 4 month old Fox Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier mix. Chester currently weighs about 10 pounds and may reach 15 pounds when full grown.  He is a really sweet, loving dog but is a puppy and a terrier puppy at that.  Chester came to us from a local shleter. Chester is a wonderful puppy but has the high energy level very common in the terrier breeds!  He is friendly, and loves attention. Chester would benefit greatly from obedience training for both the socialization and the training. He is completely house and crate trained. Chester gets along great with other dogs, cats and kids. He is learning to walk on a leash will require daily walks or exercise to expend some of his energy. He will make some family a great little furry member!!  Due to his high energy level, he will need to go to a home with older children, over the age of 8 years.  Typically, small breed dogs and small children are not a good match.  The adoption fee is $250.00.  The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
