Meet Ginger! She is a 9 month old Rat Terrier puppy. Ginger weighs about 10 pounds. She is a really sweet, loving dog who isn't very demanding. She enjoys snuggling. Ginger is a wonderful girl but has the high energy level very common in the terrier breeds! She is friendly, and loves attention. Ginger would benefit greatly from obedience training for both the socialization and the training. She is completely house and crate trained. Ginger gets along great with other dogs, not sure how she would do with cats as she has not been around them. She walks well on a leash will require daily walks or exercise to expend some of her energy. She will make some family a great little furry member!! Due to her high energy level, she will need to go to a home with older children, over the age of 8 years. Typically, small breed dogs and small children are not a good match. The adoption fee is $200.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
