Meet Shalimar! This cute little girl weighs in at a whole 2.5 lbs. She is, at best guess, a chihuahua/toy terrier mix. Shalimar was found tossed out with her sister. They were dehydrated when found, but were treated with fluids and is now doing well. Shalimar is small, but she has a loving heart the size of a Great Dane! If you cuddle her close she will snuggle in and go to sleep. Shalimar loves to play with her sister as well as with toys. Shalimar will need continued work on house breaking. She will make a perfect lap dog for someone. Because of her size, Shalimar will only be approved for adopters with children 8yrs and older. She has been around toddlers and is VERY frightened by them. Shalimar is scared of anything bigger than her, so she will need time to adjust to other dogs and cats, but she has been introduced to them. If you are interested in this little gal, please apply.
The adoption fee is $300.00. This fee includes the cost of the spay or neuter surgery. Current DHLPP, Kennel Cough, and Rabies (if old enough) vaccinations. Heartworm test (if old enough), heartworm prevention, flea/tick prevention treatment, and de-worming treatment. Shalimar will go home with a collar, leash, ID tag, training DVD and vaccination record.
