Meet Maize!! Her name, Maize is short for AMAZING! She is a beautiful Boxer/Lab mix. Maize is about 1 1/2 years old and recently had a litter of puppies at her very young age. Maize weighs about 55 pounds. She is very friendly, a real sweetheart and very laid back. Maize loves to play and run, LOVES other dogs, and people of all ages. She will benefit greatly from obedience training and socialization. She is house and crate trained. Maize is very loving toward kids. She is learning to walk on a leash but continued work and training is necessary. Maize will require daily walks or exercise to expend some of her energy. She will make some family a great little furry member!! The adoption fee is $200.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
