Meet DeDe!! She is a stunning, one year old German Shepherd/Bloodhound mix puppy. She currently weighs about 65 pounds. DeDe came into our rescue from a local shelter where she was surrendered by her owner. DeDe is exceptionally sweet, smart, and very eager to please. She has had very little structure and needs to learn to be a good family member. DeDe will take a very loving, patient home who understands she is a large puppy. DeDe will greatly benefit from obedience training. She needs to learn boudaries, rules and limitations. She is VERY affectionate and loves attention. DeDe is excellent with cats. She gets can get along with other dogs, however can be a bit pushy with some other dogs. She likes to be the alpha but after that is established she does well. DeDe LOVES everyone, including children. We have had DeDe spayed, heartworm tested, given all of her vaccinations including DHLPP and Bordetella, rabies, and have started her on heartworm/flea and tick prevention. She is completely house and crate trained. Due to her extremely large size, DeDe can only go to a home with children 5 and older. She will make some family a great furry family member!! The adoption fee is $150.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. She will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
