Meet Gage!! He is a beautiful 6 week old puppy who's mom is an German Shepherd mix and Dad is believed to be possibly a Chocolate Lab mix but could be any number of things.  He currently weighs about 8 pounds and may reach about 50 to 55 pounds when full grown. Gage loves people and is all puppy!!  He gets along with other dogs, cats and kids. He is now eating puppy chow and drinking water but is still with mom. Being just 6 weeks old, he will not be able to leave our rescue for another 2 weeks, on or about January 15th. He is also going to be working on walking on a leash.  Being a puppy he will greatly benefit  from obedience training to learn to be a good family member.  Gage needs a family who understands the trials and tribulations of puppyhood and will commit to seeing him through this transition and commit to him for his entire life. The adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when neccessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming, heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, training DVD, and vaccination record.
